Es ist bekannt für seine geschmeidig machende und beruhigende Wirkung auf die Haut, lindert Juckreiz und Irritationen und verleiht dem Haar Kraft, Frische, Schutz und Nährstoffe. Es sorgt für die richtige Feuchtigkeitsversorgung von Haar und Haut und beugt einer Schwächung des Haarstamms vor.

Es wird angenommen, dass die entzündungshemmende, feuchtigkeitsspendende und lindernde Wirkung von Aloe Vera auf das Vorhandensein von Polysacchariden (Glucomannan, Galactose, Pentose, Harnsäure) zurückzuführen ist. Die wohltuende Wirkung der Extrakte auf die Haut beruht auf einer synergistischen Wirkung von Polysacchariden und Wirkstoffen.

Die im Blaubeerextrakt enthaltenen Stoffe sind: Tannine, Anthocyanoside, Flavonoide, Zucker, Vitamin C und anorganische Salze. Die enthaltenen Anthocyanoside reduzieren die Gefäßpermeabilität und wirken vasoprotektiv (erhöhen den Kapillarwiderstand und fördern die Reparatur des Endothels).
